Happy Birthday Q! We were so happy to get to spend
your 2nd birthday together with you in China! We
are even happier to be spending your 3rd birthday together
as a whole family here at home!
Words can not express how we feel about you being
a part of our lives. It's almost as if you've always been
here. We are amazed (usually on a daily basis) at
how well you've adjusted to your new home and
family and at how quickly you learn things.
You are a strong, smart and beautiful young lady
and we can't wait to see what God has planned for you!
Zhu Ni Shenri Kuaile! Happy Birthday to You sweet Q!

Gotcha Day--Part 1
I've had the best of intentions for the better part of the last
year to make a video of our time in China to have ready for
today....our one year anniversary of meeting our sweet Q.
Needless to say, it hasn't happened....yet.
So while we wait for the video to be completed,
here are some pics from the last year to hold you
over. ;-)
I know everyone says how quickly the year goes by....
but it REALLY did! It seems like yesterday that we
were waiting for our TA and then packing at the last
minute before finally getting on that long plane ride
to China. The time there seemed to drag on forever..
but now I wish we could have stayed just a little
longer. There is a part of me that will always be
in China...in Zhengzhou to be exact. I will never
forget those sights, sounds, and smells.
We are so glad that we said yes to His call to open
our hearts and family to Q. We are so blessed to have her
in our lives.
